Mascot contest!

Its time to start the new year with a contest! This time will be creating a mascot for our group!

Theme-
An original creature, it can be anything from a distant planet, to a creature from the bottom of the ocean, it can be small and friendly or big and gruesome, its completely up to you!

Rules-
Any medium is accepted.
You CAN submit multiple entries.
It must be an original creature design made by you.
It must follow DA's and our groups rules.
You must be a member to join.
No tracing or copying other artists work, all work must be original.

The creature design will be used for the groups icon, will be used by the group, and redrawn at different times by different artists, credit will be given to the original designer.

How to submit-
To enter the contest, comment on this journal to let the admins know you are entering, then when the drawing/design is completed, submit it into the 'contest' folder in the gallery. Submissions will be accepted up until the deadline.

Judging-
After the deadline, the admins will pick the 10 (or more) submissions which will be voted on by the members to determine the 3 winners.
The submissions will be chosen on the design and originality not skill level.

Deadline-
February 15th, 2013.

Prizes-
Prize donations are welcome.

First place- 75 and a drawing from 768dragon

Second place- 35 and a drawing from BIitzey

Third place- 15 and a drawing from Odahviing
